Understanding the End of Times
The concept of the end is something that fascinates me deeply. It's a topic that evokes thoughts about mortality and existence for everyone. I often wonder if it's something only the messiah should concern themselves with. You might share this feeling as well.
As a human being, I ponder the vastness of nature, leading me to envision various endings. Yes, I identify as a Christian and firmly believe in the existence of God. However, who among us has truly seen the magnificent realm known as Heaven?
Heaven is depicted as a place devoid of hunger, filled with joy, and adorned with golden mansions. A place where earthly ties fade, and we are connected to the divine essence of the Trinity. Yet, the truth remains that no one has absolute certainty about what lies beyond.
Every day brings us closer to that conclusion.
Daily Reminders of Mortality
The reality is that each day marks another step towards our end. The moment the clock strikes 7 AM, we have lost a day of our lives. It may seem grim, but acknowledging this can be liberating. While it can be disheartening to think about missed opportunities, it reminds us to focus on what truly matters:
- Being kind to those who deserve it.
- Cherishing moments with family.
- Expressing love to our parents.
- Pursuing our passions, as we only have one chance at life.
Yet, even these important actions won't prevent the inevitable.
Lack of Control Over Our Departure
Have you ever thought about having a remote control for your departure? Unfortunately, technology has yet to provide such a device. If one existed, I'd be the first to grab it, selecting the perfect soundtrack for my exit and penning a farewell piece to be published posthumously.
