Chapter 1: My Artistic Journey
Greetings, everyone!
I am excited to share the enriching journey I've undertaken this year, dedicated to immersing myself in art and culture. At the beginning of the year, I set ambitious targets: to read 40 books, watch 40 films from the 19th century, and listen to various music genres for a total of 300,000 minutes. This commitment has allowed me to dive deeply into the realms of creativity and expression.
My aim is to surround myself with quality artistic experiences, and I am approaching this endeavor with renewed intentionality and enthusiasm. So far, I have read nearly 20 books, highlighting my dedication to this goal. The insights and experiences gained from these readings have been invaluable. Likewise, watching over a dozen films from the 19th century has provided a fantastic introduction to the rich cinematic history of that time.
To track my music listening habits, I’ve been using an app like StatsFm (available for Spotify users), and I’m thrilled to report that I have already logged 117,000 minutes of listening time. This journey is not just about enjoyment; it’s about actively engaging with art in a meaningful way.
