Chapter 1: Time to Reflect on Your Goals
As we approach the end of the year, it's crucial to reflect on your yearly objectives. In just 120 days, we will transition into 2025. While some may feel anticipation for the upcoming year, others might be concerned about unfulfilled aspirations.
Revisiting Your Goals and Tracking Progress
At the beginning of the year, many of us set new goals. Start by reviewing those objectives. You might find that you have made progress—perhaps not exactly as you envisioned, but progress nonetheless.
For instance, while I intended to enroll in a scuba diving course this year, I haven't yet taken the class. However, I have completed three dives across various reefs. Therefore, though I haven't fully realized my goal, I feel content with my experiences so far.
It's important to note your achievements and avoid stressing over those still in progress.
With only four months left in the year, it's time to buckle down and focus on your goals. This video explores effective strategies for staying committed and making meaningful progress toward your aspirations.
Creating a New Action Plan
Next, take a fresh look at the areas where you're falling short. Consider revising your approach to achieving your goals.
If you find yourself delaying tasks due to laziness, it's time to reassess your priorities. For example, if your objective is to reach your ideal weight, reflect on the question: "If not now, then when?"
The reality is that you cannot postpone caring for your health, as it is essential for living the life you desire.
Introducing New Goals
Imagine playing a video game and completing all levels. Would you enjoy replaying the same game indefinitely? Probably not.
If you're one of the fortunate individuals who have achieved all your set goals, think about adding new ones. These could involve professional development or simply enhancing your skills.
Additionally, consider personal objectives, such as spending more quality time with family or planning a getaway.
Rethinking Your Mindset
Once you've thoroughly evaluated your goals, it’s time to shift your mindset. This involves cultivating new positive habits and eliminating counterproductive ones.
Analyze the reasons behind any unachieved goals. Often, the answer lies in your daily routines and how you allocate your time.
After this reflection, make small adjustments to your daily life, allowing space for your goals in your new schedule.

Finally, Embrace a New Hobby or Continue an Existing One
Having hobbies enriches our lives. Pursuing them is invaluable. Regardless of your goal achievements, hobbies offer a sanctuary where you can express yourself freely.
Whether it's cooking, reading, or engaging in more adventurous activities like rock climbing or trekking, the key is to enjoy the process.
If you find yourself anxious about the approaching new year, it's time to reassess your current position. It’s far better to take proactive steps now than to feel regret come January 2, 2025. Today is the ideal moment to begin anew.
